Last Two Weeks

It’s strange to think about leaving.  Of course I’m excited, but in these Last Two Weeks there is a lot to do, but at the same time things are winding down and it feels strange.  What do these Last Two Weeks hold?

— Only TWO more services! Wow! — Only one more time to speak at Youth. — GRADUATION! — Time with my family — Going-away party —

And many things to do… PACK (ohhhh boy.) — sell my car (anyone interested in a 2001 Ford Explorer?) — get my will notarized (anyone available to be a witness?) — mail thank yous — soak in California — clean (out) my room — get an international drivers license — and too many small things that I can’t even remember.

I’m actually moving overseas.  After five relatively short trips to Thailand (three months or less), and a year of itinerating and telling people what I’m going to be doing in Thailand, I’m finally moving there for good, and I will actually be doing what I’m supposed to do there, not just talking about it.  I don’t think the reality of it has hit yet.  I don’t know when it will either. 🙂

You have to get your will notarized?! Is this a program requirement, or just something you’re doing on your own?

    Congrats on graduating! 🙂

My organization provided a free will for me, and I have to get an affidavit notarized to say that it was me who signed the will. I don’t really get it, which is why I’ve put it off for 11 months! 🙂
